In May 2024, we shared the passing of Life Member and Volunteer Firefighter Burton Brenner, whose decades of dedication and service to our community left a lasting impact on Company 16 and the Silver Spring Volunteer Fire Department family.
We are deeply honored to see one of our own memorialized at the Ocean City Firefighters Memorial in Ocean City, Maryland. This brick serves as a lasting acknowledgment of Burton’s faithful volunteer service, commitment, and love for the fire service.
It is a privilege to know his name and legacy will live on among those who devoted their lives to serving and protecting others.
