The MCVFRA sponsors a Fire Prevention Ambassador contest annually. This year the contest will be held on Saturday, 14 September at the Montgomery County PSTA. They sponsor four separate contests, which are listed below:

Miss Fire Prevention: Young ladies, ages 16 to 24
Junior Miss Fire Prevention: Girls, ages 11 to 15
Little Miss Fire Prevention: Girls, ages 5 to 10
Little Fire Chief: Boys, ages 5 to 10
