On Friday July 12th, SSFD members participated in a drill focused on METRORAIL emergencies. EMT Gabe Gan presented to more than a dozen department members - including some of our newest recruits/candidates as well as several seasoned providers.

EMT Gan's presentation was followed by a visit to the Silver Spring Metro Station, where members spoke with METRO personnel and identified the access points and resources that would be used on an emergency incident.
